The Synapsy National Center of Competences in Research has brought together neuroscientists and psychiatrists to foster dialogue and develop research themes on mental disorders. After 12 years of funding by the Swiss National Science Foundation, Synapsy will take a new step by becoming the Synapsy Centre for Mental Health, hosted by the University of Geneva. Research into treatments and diagnoses for disorders such as autism, depression, bipolarity and schizophrenia will continue. To celebrate this transition, Synapsy is organizing the scientific conference “Neurobiology of Mental Health”
June 7 and 8 at the Campus Biotech in Geneva
The conference aims at stimulating scientific exchanges between specialists of the mechanistic basis of psychiatric diseases. Link to conference website.
